VESTOPLAST® Amorphous poly-alpha-olefins in Packaging
VESTOPLAST® is an amorphous poly-alpha olefin (APAO) based on ethene, propene & butene. APAOs
serve as a valuable ingredient for a broad range of applications. In this webinar, we will focus on how
APAOs work with ‘difficult to bond’ substrates in packaging applications. Eg: Hot filling.
We will also outline the ways in which it supports sustainability.
Enabling better packaging for small scale and low volume production
Packaging is the first tangible experience any consumer has of a brand, making it of utmost importance
to the customer and manufacturer. However, many small-scale industries making FMCG products in India
find themselves unable to match packaging standards set by larger companies.
This paper presents hot melt adhesives with accessible yet reliable dispensing equipment as a solution to
this predicament.
Sustainability in Packaging
Packaging is essential to modern living. Yet, it has also caused grave damage to our environment.
This has resulted in sustainability becoming the top concern for packaging professionals. Hot melt
adhesives offer numerous practical and inexpensive technologies for sustainable packaging. The paper
discusses five proven technologies that can deliver immediate sustainability results.
Technological Advancement in Shipper Boxes
A discussion on how machinery and adhesives could turnaround an industry classified under the SSI
sector into a modern one with cutting-edge technology and manufacturing processes.
